The Board of Management of Laurel Hill Coláiste FCH are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Úna Griffin as principal from September 2020. Ms Griffin is experienced in school leadership and comes from Charleville CBS where she has held the role of principal for the past 3 and half years. Previous to her role as principal she was deputy principal (including a period as acting principal) in St. Mary’s Secondary School, Mallow. Education and the importance of learning and teaching experience in the life of the student is a keen focus for her. She has a degree in Irish and English from UCC, Higher Diploma in Education (UCC), Masters in Education (UCC), Postgraduate Diploma in School Planning (NUIG), as well as Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership (NUIM).
“I look forward to working as part of the senior management team with the staff, Board of Management, students and parents of Laurel Hill Coláiste in supporting the education of our students. It is a privilege to take up the role of Principal in such a fine school with a strong tradition.
