Students showcased a range of activities they champion within their school communities that help make the world a better place. By caring for others, highlighting injustices, promoting sustainability, supporting charities, leading faith groups, and getting involved in campaigns for change, they give Witness to Le Chéile's Gospel values through their actions.

I really enjoyed the Le Chéile Student conference as it was very interesting and informative. I liked how we, as students, got to share our ideas with one another, as we were able to engage. I particularly enjoyed how students were able to tell us about what kind of things they do in their schools so we can learn from their experiences.
I was really impressed at the fact that some schools created books, student magazines, sleepouts, school musicals, Christmas markets and more.
As a member of Guth an Scoilaire and a former member of the student council, I hope to help succeed in bringing some of these fun activities into our school.
Lots of schools organised events for charity or to raise awareness for a certain cause for example Team Hope shoebox appeal, Tinsel Trek for charity, Haiti Hike of Hope, LGBTQ+ week and even encouraging more girls to cycle to school. It feels like we, as young people, are making a difference to society and that we are shaping a better future for ourselves.
