Our Junior Football team have gone from strength to strength this year! They have played St. Josephs Borrisoleigh, Limerick Educate Together and Newport College and had fantastic success against all three teams. They played St. Caimin's Community School in the Quarter Final and had another fantastic win of 7-4 to 1-9. We progress to the Semi Finals against Coláiste Fionnchua Mitchelstown/ CTI Clonmel. Details of this cluiche should be announced shortly.
An Chéad Bhliain had an outstanding first game against St. Johns the Baptist Community School, Hospital 9-12 to no score. There is a match against Castletroy College coming up on the 17th of February.
The Seniors were at hard luck and came up against two very strong teams, Kilmallock and Killenaule. They kept their heads up throughout the whole game and didn't give up.
The girls put in great efforts and determination at training on Wednesday evenings and we are all very proud of them! Míle buíochas to Ms. Bradshaw and Ms. Downey for their continued work and efforts with the cailíní.
